Ride with us along the scenic World War II Veterans Memorial Trail, a 14-mile round-trip journey from Mansfield to Norton, MA. This paved path follows the former Old Colony Railroad Line, which once carried thousands of troops from Camp Myles Standish in Taunton to the Boston Port of Embarkation during World War II. Along the route, you’ll pass through wooded areas, the Mansfield Airport, and several granite monuments honoring the trail’s military history. There is a flyover bridge above Route 495, complete with a dedicated bike lane. Please note: there's a short 50-yard stretch of loose gravel near the airport - otherwise, the trail is paved and in excellent condition.
