
Neal will lead a hike in Mary Cummings Park in Burlington, MA. This hike is a moderate hike with some small hills, and rocky paths with a boardwalk going through a swamp. Depending on the trails we choose to take, it will be about a three mile hike. Bring a water bottle if you wish, and good shoes (some mud), mosquito repellent if necessary.
Directions are as follows:
GPS: 25 Blanchard Rd, Burlington
From the south: Route 95 N to Exit 51A to Cambridge Street, Burlington. Right on Cambridge Street, first right on Wayside Road, left on South Bedford Street, right on Blanchard Road.
From the north: Route 95 S to Exit 51B to Route 3A Burlington. Continue straight through light on Burlington Mall Road, left on South Bedford Street, right on Blanchard Road.
The primary entrance to Mary Cummings Park is the second parking area on left (south) side of Blanchard Road, just past the blue water tower; look for the Trustees sign at side of road. Trail maps are available at the kiosk.
For those who wish we can have lunch at Potbelly Sandwich Shop at 2 Wayside Road Burlington which is about a half mile from the park.
