Now that school is back in session and the tourist crowds have diminished.  Let's do this walk again.  Leaving from the Boston Common Visitor's Center, near the Park Street MBTA station.  This is an approximately 6 mile walk round trip along paved but sometimes cobblestone walkways. We will walk from the Common through the Faneuil Hall area, down to the North End and over to the Constitution Warf.  We can tour the Constitution "Old Ironsides" and visit the Museum for no charge; however, to board this still commissioned vessel you need to show a valid id.   From there, those who wish, can climb up to the Bunker Hill Monument (on Breed's Hill) which will be open if you choose to climb the stairs for the view.  

This is a great walk full of national and local historical sites; but feel free to only walk part of the way if you wish.

On the way back we can stop in the North End for lunch or cannolis at one of the local establishments.

Bring a water bottle and wear shoes suitable for the uneven surfaces.
