Join Chris and Meredith for an approximately 3 mile walk to the Thanksgiving Forest  and stones from Great Brook State Park and back. This is a mostly flat walk  with a few small rises.   The trails are dirt with some rocks and roots.  Part of the trail is along the River Meadow Brook and most all is in the woods.  Be prepared for wet areas if it has been raining. Sturdy shoes or hikers are suggested.  Poles if you feel you need them.

Bring a bag lunch to be enjoyed either in the stone circle or under cover with picnic benches at Great Brook.    

There is ample parking in the Farm area parking lot off North Road. If you have the Mass state parks pass bring it for display on your dashboard.  This lot has a small fee for usage if you don’t have one. Restrooms are available.
