Join Meredith P. on an approximately 3 mile round trip hike/walk through Great Brook State Park and into Chelmsford's Thanksgiving Forest and back.  We will pass the River Meadow Brook and the Thanksgiving Ground Rocks.

The trails have roots and rocks in some places and there will be leaves and pine needles on the trails. There are a few small ups and downs along the way.  Hiking poles would be helpful.  Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather conditions and bring water and a bag lunch. The parking area has picnic tables and many benches.  The restrooms are open.  Be sure to bring a mask as the Massachusetts mandate requires masks in public.  We will take mask breaks along the way.

Rain will cancel on the 17th with a rain date of Friday, November 20, at 10 am. Notification of the cancellation due to rain will be sent by the night of Nov. 16.

TOHG General Guidelines

1. No groups larger than 12 members, including the activity leader, are permitted
2. Physical distancing rules must be followed, 6 feet or more
3. When physical distancing cannot be achieved, masks must be worn
4. No inside activities can be planned
5. When it is necessary to go inside, such as for restrooms, masks are required
