We will meet at a public boat ramp in Buzzards Bay
Prepare to launch by 11:30 am. Return time will be approximately 2:30 pm.

There's limited parking on nearby side streets. Don't park where a permit is required (i.e. beach parking lot). This boat ramp is approximately 1/5 mile from the Railroad Bridge (over the Cape Cod Canal), however, we won't paddle on the Cape Cod Canal. We'll start at the south end of Buttermilk Bay and turn around in Onset Bay in Wareham.

For those who need to rent a kayak, arrangements can be made with the Nemasket Kayak Center at 774-678-4366. If enough people rent we'll get a group discount. The rental cost will be approximately $65 for the day to rent, including drop off and pick up of kayak.

Bring lunch/snack, water, mask, life jacket, and a windbreaker.
If your kayak has a skirt, bring that as well, depending on the conditions, but not mandatory.
Masks and Life jackets are required!

TOHG General Guidelines

1. No groups larger than 12 members, including the activity leader, are permitted
2. Physical distancing rules must be followed, 6 feet or more
3. When physical distancing cannot be achieved, masks must be worn
4. No inside activities can be planned
5. When it is necessary to go inside, such as for restrooms, masks are required
