Enjoy an easy 4.7 mile roundtrip walk in the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge. It is mostly hard-packed dirt on level ground through woods and passes by wetlands with an opportunity to see some wildlife. Please note that there are no restrooms available as the visitor’s center is closed during the pandemic.
Wear your mask, comfortable shoes, bring insect repellent, sunscreen, water & hat.

We can go for lunch afterwards close by in Stow at Emma’s Café and eat outside at picnic tables.

We’ll meet at the North Gate Access point in Maynard/Stow, MA off of White Pond Rd. at 10:00 AM in the parking lot.
