Bike the East Bay Bike Path in RI

Join the Gang for a ride on the East Bay Bike Path in September when the trail is not crowded and the scenery is beautiful. MA Residents please read Travel Order below.

 We will meet in the Fort Hill Parking Lot at the northern end of the bike path and ride to Colt State Park in Bristol for a Picnic lunch.

The ride to Colt State Park and back is about 24 miles. The bike path is flat, except for one challenging hill right before the end of the ride. Make sure to bring lunch, water, mask, a spare tube and your helmet.

Helmets are mandatory in all TOHG bike rides

The Fort Hill parking lot is located on Veterans Memorial Parkway in East Providence, RI. From points north, take I-95 to Providence onto I-195 east. Travel about 1 mile east to Exit 4 for Riverside - Veterans Memorial Parkway. Continue on Veterans Memorial Parkway to the first bike path parking lot, about ½ mile on the right. 

Massachusetts COVID-19 Travel Order

All visitors entering Massachusetts, including returning residents, who do not meet an exemption, are required to:

  • Complete the Massachusetts Travel Form prior to arrival.
  • Quarantine for 14 days or produce a negative COVID-19 test result that has been administered up to 72-hours prior to your arrival in Massachusetts.
If your COVID-19 test result has not been received prior to arrival, visitors, and residents must quarantine until they receive a negative test result.
Failure to comply may result in a $500 fine per day.
If this order is lifted we will send a new announcement.


TOHG General COVID-19 Guidelines
  1. No groups larger than 12 members, including the activity leader, are permitted.
  2. Physical distancing rules must be followed, 6 feet or more.
  3. When physical distancing cannot be achieved, masks must be worn.
  4. No inside activities can be planned.
  5. When it is necessary to go inside, such as for restrooms, masks are required
