Linda and I have arranged for a private tour with a bicycling touring company, Carolina Tailwinds, to bike in the Colonial Virginia area. We will ride for six days in and around several historic sites such as Jamestown, Yorktown and Williamsburg. The rides are considered flat with a few rolling hills and the average daily mileage is 25 miles +/-. The tour is fully Van supported with a guest to guide ratio of 7 to one. During the trip we will be staying at The Virginia Crossings Hotel, Wedmore Place at the Williamsburg Winery and the Williamsburg Lodge. While in Williamsburg there will be ample time to see the village and museums located nearby, as well as visits to Jamestown and Yorktown historic sites. Linda and I have done this trip once before and it was fabulous! If you enjoy bicycling and early American History this is a Great trip! The cost for the tour is $2325.00 per person double occupancy, singles with a supplement. This includes 5 nights Lodging starting Sunday, all breakfasts, 4 dinners, 5 lunches, as well as passes to all the area venues. There is a maximum number of 18 riders. A deposit of $200.00 dollars will be needed to register. Please register online. Once you have registered, you will receive the trip reservation form with instructions. For further information or questions about the trip please contact Paul.
