We are returning to Killington (www.killington.com), one of the largest ski areas in the East, with 155 trails for all abilities (28% easier; 33% more difficult; 39% most difficult).  Cross country skiing and snowshoeing are available at nearby Mountain Meadows xc Center, offering snowmaking and a new trail design. 

We will again be staying at the Cascades Lodge near the base of the mountain, and there is a convenient and free shuttle from the lodge to the base area. Deluxe rooms offer double occupancy with two queen size beds; or one double bed and  queen bed; or one king bed.  Rooms have daily housekeeping and Internet access, as well as a refrigerator, hair dryer, coffee pot, ski storage. The Lodge has an indoor pool, hot tub and Finnish sauna, a pub and living room, and a dining room.  An extra "Living room" area next to the pool is great to gather for our nightly après-ski/pre-dinner gatherings.

The double occupancy per person package cost is $431; single rate cost is $699.  The package cost includes five nights lodging (Sunday through Thursday), a full hot buffet breakfast each day including all taxes and gratuities even if we have fewer than 20 people; three dinners on Mon., Wed. and Thurs. nights `(buffet style or plated) based on the final count of people; and a welcome party on Sunday night, with a cheese platter and accompaniments.

The 2019 ski midweek group lift ticket rate will be $139 (for 3 days), $157 (4 days), or $190 (5 days) for anyone needing to purchase these.  All skiers 80+, no charge.  Killington is among major ski resorts participating in the new “Ikon pass” (www.ikonpass.com).
