Nine TOHG members closed out the biking season on a gorgeous early November day. We biked 20 miles round trip from Everett to Lynn on the Northern Strand Trail.
About half of this trail cuts through urban areas of Everett and Malden as we passed community gardens, commercial and industrial areas and then transitions to more suburban neighborhoods before biking along marshes and the Saugus River. We ended in Lynn where work is underway to extend the trail to Nahant, hopefully in 2027. Lots to see on this ride including a playground in Lynn where some of the Gang had the opportunity to test a kids zip line.
