The day started cloudy as a dozen Gang members met at Fort Phoenix in Fairhaven to bike to Mattapoisett. However, the clouds soon parted to offer us a mostly sunny ride of about 18 miles round trip. This was a beautiful ride led by Betty and Joan which passed salt marshes, seashore and wooded areas as well as some beautiful homes along the route.
Our ride ended with a picnic lunch with drinks and chips supplied by Joan and Betty by the seaside at Fort Phoenix.
