Hoping for a perfect New England fall foliage week-end, Tom and Cindy invite you to their Newbury, NH home. They have room for 12 overnight guests on Friday or come for the day on Saturday and stay for a Gang pot luck dinner at 4pm.
Either way, there is a lot going on in the area but it could be a very busy week-end so you might want to book the chairlift or boat cruise ASAP.
- Saturday is Duck Drop Day (10-2pm) at the mountain. If you want to take the chair lift, we suggest getting your ticket through the Duck Drop site ($14) or the 10 ducks plus lift ticket ($30). If you have an Epic pass, there is no charge for the lift. This site describes the day (if it is your thing, it’s a fun event!)
- Lake Sunapee Cruise is at 2pm ($28). Click the link for tickets.
- The John Hay Estate has an historic home, gardens and nice hikes down to the lake. Click the link for details and tickets.

If you are staying Friday night, please bring a towel and either a sleeping bag or sheets. Come anytime after lunch and we will order pizzas for dinner. We will take care of breakfast.
Day trippers, come early and enjoy the day!
And everyone, please bring an appetizer, salad, main dish or dessert to share. The pot luck dinner will start around 4pm, Saturday.
